About Little Oaks Chalet & the local area

Little Oaks sleeps maximum 4 guests in two bedrooms, one double bed and two small singles, with wardrobes in each bedroom.  The open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area create an airy social living space to enjoy meals and cosy nights in with the family. The kitchen has all the equipment you'd need for your self catering holiday in Cornwall.  The bathroom has a double step in shower, toilet and basin with plenty of storage.  The patio has a table and chairs to dine al fresco in the warm summer evenings, and is a sun trap during the days.

The holiday park 'Atlantic Bays' takes its name from the seven stunning bays that stretch either side of the lighthouse at Trevose Head.  They're all just a short drive from Little Oaks chalet and offer varied activities for all the family rain or shine.  Enjoy the rock pools teaming with life at low tide, surf and bodyboard the Atlantic waves, venture along the coast path, or bring your paddleboard or kayak and explore the coastline from the other side.

Little Oaks is located just 2 miles from St Merryn, a lovely Cornish village on a crossroads.  There a several places to eat in St Merryn including well established pubs, restaurants and a brilliant fish & chip shop.  Its a well serviced village for its size with a petrol station, a convenience store, a bakery and lots of other great shops to visit.

The charming fishing port of Padstow is just under 6 miles away, there you'll find celebrity chefs operating several restaurants and business alongside many quality local restaurants and pubs. Any visit to Cornwall isn't complete without and proper Cornish pasty and a delicious cream tea and you'll find some fantastic places to sample both.  There are so many independent shops in Padstow, Wadebridge, St Merryn and all over Cornwall selling quality local food, art, clothes, souvenirs and so much more for you to take home and enjoy. 

For days away from the beach, try the nearby Camel trail by foot or bicycle and take a trip along the old railway to enjoy some beautiful scenery and fun places to stop off. For a rainy day go tropical at The Eden Project only 30 mins away or choose from a number of attractions in the area that make a great day out for all the family.  There's a great selection of Golf courses in the area to choose from with coastal backdrops you'll never forget.
